Born 11.11.1933.


Started Judo in Haifa June 1959 (coach: Natan Simon).
1st Dan from Feb. 1967 (with Maurice Smadja, the first Dan grade
examination in Israel). 6th Dan from Jan.97.


At first national contest in Israel (1965), 3d place lightweight.
           1970 Hapoel championships 1st place.


Licensed Judo coach 1970, licensed national coach (highest coaching rank in Israel) 1986.
Responsible for Judo coach education at Wingate School for Coaches from 1970 onwards.

Chairman technical board 1971-77, 1984-88.
Sports Director Judo Ass'n 1986-89
Chairman Judo Ass'n 1975, 1977, 1980-83.
Grades examiner fom 1974, senior grades examiner from 1987.
