General background

Gadi Skornik, born in 1940 in France, immigrated at the age of 17 to Israel.

Over the years, Gadi has represented the State of Israel with honor in many

competitions and has gained world regognition in the field of martial arts.

In addition, he has won many worldwide championships and was Israel

champion for many years in a row.

On the military front, Gadi completed his army service with the rank of lieutenant colonel as

trainer of selected units.

GADI SKORNIK has developed over the years a method of self-defense, which he

coined  "Gadi Kenpo Jitsu", which has been regognized locally by the Wingate Institute and the Ministry of

Education and Culture, as well as by the World Institute for Martial Arts. In recognition, he was

granted the highest 10th Dan rank of Kancho, namely senior martial arts master.

In spite, or maybe because of his achievements, Gadi professes that all the Martial Arts

methods equal one another and that success depends on the individual's spirit rather

 than on any particular technique.
